Question 1

Does Booklidio cover my child's exact school booklist?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Booklidio is specifically tailored to prescribed high school and primary booklists for CAPS, IEB, and Cambridge curricula. Curro Vanderbijlpark is currently our active flagship hub, meaning prescribed titles for Grade 8 through Grade 12 are catalogued and verified directly against the school's official subject requirements.

Question 2

How does Booklidio compare to classified sites like Textbook Trader or Facebook Marketplace?

Accepted Answer

Unlike unverified classified sites like Textbook Trader or social media groups where parents risk purchasing outdated syllabus editions, missing pages, or dealing with cash meetups, Booklidio provides end-to-end buyer and seller protection. Every textbook is physically inspected against the school's prescribed booklist, buyer funds are held in secure escrow until delivery is verified, and sellers receive guaranteed direct EFT cashouts within 24–48 hours without bookstore consignment cuts.

Question 3

What is Booklidio (sometimes searched as Bookdio, Booklidoo, or Book Lidio)?

Accepted Answer

Booklidio (also commonly misspelled as Bookdio, Booklidoo, or Book Lidio) is South Africa's dedicated textbook exchange platform. We help school families save up to 70% on verified second-hand textbooks for Curro Vanderbijlpark, IEB, and CAPS curricula, complete with door-to-door courier tracking and 48-hour return protection.

Question 4

How do you verify the condition and edition of used textbooks?

Accepted Answer

Every single book listed on Booklidio undergoes physical quality inspection before it reaches you. We verify that syllabus editions are up to date (no outdated CAPS or obsolete printings), bindings are durable, and pages are clean of disruptive annotations.

Question 5

Can parents sell textbooks from previous school grades?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Instead of letting old Grade 8-11 textbooks sit in storage, parents can list them in under two minutes. Once matched with incoming parents or learners, we arrange collection or drop-off, and your payout is transferred via instant EFT within 48 hours of verification.

Question 6

How does delivery and collection work in Vanderbijlpark and the Vaal Triangle?

Accepted Answer

We provide fast, reliable door-to-door courier delivery across Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, Sasolburg, and nationwide. Orders over R500 qualify for free tracked courier shipping with real-time SMS and online tracking.

Question 7

What payment methods are supported?

Accepted Answer

We accept secure South African payment options including Visa, Mastercard, instant EFT via Capitec Pay and Ozow, and SnapScan. All transactions are held in escrow until you receive and inspect your books.

Question 8

What if I am a university student or from another school?

Accepted Answer

Booklidio Campus (for South African universities and colleges) and new school hubs are actively expanding! If your institution is not yet live, you can submit your campus or school via our Waitlist form to be notified the moment trading opens in your area.
